What is frame scaffolding ?
Frame scaffold is one of the most widely used scaffolds in construction scaffolding. Because the main frame is a "door" font, it is called portal or door scaffold, also known as eagle frame or gantry frame. This kind of scaffolding is mainly composed of main frame, cross frame, cross diagonal support, foot plate, adjustable base and so on.
Basic component
Portal scaffold is a standardized steel pipe scaffold which is composed of portal frame, cross support, connecting rod, hook type foot plate or horizontal frame, lock arm, etc., and then set horizontal reinforcement rod, scissors brace, sweeping rod, sealing rod, bracket and base, and the wall is connected to the main structure of the building. Portal steel scaffold can not only be used as external scaffolding, but also as internal scaffolding or full scaffold.
How to build portal scaffolding and subsequent disassembly storage
(1) Erection of scaffolding
1) The erection sequence of portal scaffold is as follows: foundation preparation → placement of cushion plate → placement of base → erection of two pieces of single portal frame → installation of cross rod → installation of foot plate → Repeat installation of portal frame, cross rod and foot plate on this basis.
2) The foundation must be rammed, and a layer of 100mm thick slag should be laid, and the drainage slope should be done to prevent water.
3) The portal steel pipe scaffold should be set up from one end to the other end, and the upper scaffold should be set up after the next scaffold. Set the direction opposite to the next step.
4) The erection of portal scaffolding, should first insert two frames on the end base, and then install the cross rod fixed, lock the lock piece, and then set up the later door frame, each take a pin, then install the cross rod and lock piece.
5) The outer side of the portal steel pipe scaffold should be set with scissors, and both vertical and vertical should be set continuously.
6) The scaffold must be set up with a reliable connection to the building, and the distance between the connecting parts shall not be greater than 3 steps horizontally, and the vertical distance shall not be greater than 3 steps (when the scaffold height is <20m) and 2 steps (when the scaffold height is >20m).
(2) Demolition of scaffolding
1) Preparation before dismantling the scaffold: comprehensively inspect the scaffold, focusing on checking whether the fasteners are connected and fixed, and the support system meets the safety requirements; Prepare the demolition plan according to the inspection results and site conditions and get the approval of the relevant departments; Technical disclosure; According to the situation of the demolition site, set up fences or warning signs, and have special guards; Remove materials, wires and other debris left in the scaffolding.
2) The working area where the shelf is removed is strictly prohibited for non-operators to enter.
3) Before dismantling the frame, there should be approval procedures for the person in charge of the site construction, and there must be a special command when dismantling the frame, so that the upper and lower echo and the action is coordinated.
4) The removal sequence should be the first to remove the parts installed after the first to remove the parts, it is strictly prohibited to use the demolition practice of pushing or pulling down.
5) The fixed parts should be removed with the scaffold layer by layer. When the last riser is removed, temporary support should be set up before the fixed parts and supporting parts can be removed.
6) The dismantled scaffolding parts should be transported to the ground in time, and it is strictly prohibited to throw them from the air.
7) The scaffolding parts transported to the ground should be cleaned and maintained in time. Apply anti-rust paint according to need, and store according to variety and specification.

1. Used for building, hall, bridge, viaduct, tunnel and other formwork to support the roof or as the main frame for flying mold support.
