What is Color Coated corrugated sheet

Color steel refers to the color coated steel plate, color coated steel plate is a kind of steel plate with organic coating, with good corrosion resistance, bright color, beautiful appearance, convenient processing and molding, and has the advantages of the original strength of steel plate and low cost.

Channel steel is a long strip of steel with a fluted section. It is a carbon structural steel for construction and machinery. It is a shaped steel with a complex section and its section shape is a fluted one.  Channel steel is mainly used in building structure, curtain wall engineering, mechanical equipment and vehicle manufacturing.

Durability

The residential structure of color steel structure is composed of cold-formed thin-wall steel component system, and the steel bone is made of super anti-corrosion high-strength cold-rolled galvanized sheet, which effectively avoids the influence of rust in the construction and use of color steel plate, and increases the service life of light steel components.  The structure can last up to 100 years.

Insulation property

The thermal insulation material of color steel sandwich board is mainly glass fiber cotton, which has good thermal insulation effect.  The thermal insulation board used for the external wall effectively avoids the phenomenon of "cold bridge" on the wall and achieves better thermal insulation effect.  The thermal resistance of R15 insulation cotton about 100mm thick can be equivalent to 1m thick brick wall.

Sound insulation

Sound insulation effect is an important index to evaluate the housing, color steel + light steel system installed Windows are hollow glass, sound insulation effect is good, sound insulation of more than 40 decibels;  The wall composed of light steel keel and insulation material gypsum board has a sound insulation effect of up to 60 decibels.

The production process of color corrugated board

First of all, raw material preparation. The main raw material of color steel tile is color coated steel plate, which has a layer of polyester coating. First cut the color coated steel plate to the required size for subsequent production.

Next is the forming of color steel tile. The cut steel plate is sent to the color steel tile forming machine, and after rolling and bending processes, the flat steel plate is formed into a wave shape tile. By adjusting the parameters of the machine, different types of color steel tiles can be produced, such as waveform tiles, flat tiles and so on.

After the molding is completed, the color steel tile needs to be coated. This is to enhance the weatherability and beauty of the color steel tile. In general, there are two types of coating: polyester coating and polyurethane coating. The choice of coating will be determined according to different requirements and circumstances.

After the coating is completed, the color steel tile needs to be baked. This is to allow the coating to fully cure and improve the weather resistance and corrosion resistance of the color steel tile. The baking temperature and time need to be controlled to give full play to the properties of the coating.

Application advantages of color coated corrugated board

1, Light weight: the density of color coated corrugated board is small, only 1/3 of steel;

2, High strength: color coated corrugated board through composition configuration, processing and heat treatment methods can achieve high strength;

3, Corrosion resistance: has a strong anti-rust ability, the formation of oxide layer, can prevent metal oxidation rust, good acid and alkali resistance;

4, Diverse surface treatment, beautiful: anodizing, electrophoresis, chemical treatment, polishing, painting treatment;

5, color coated corrugated board plasticity is good, easy to process;

6, Good electrical conductivity: non-magnetization and low spark sensitivity, can prevent electromagnetic interference and reduce flammability in special environments;

7, Easy installation: color coated corrugated board can be riveted, welded, glued and other ways to connect;

8, Color coated corrugated board used in environmental protection materials, can be recycled.
