What is checkered steel plate

A steel plate with a raised (or concave) pattern on the surface.  The patterned steel plate, also known as the mesh steel plate, is a steel plate with a diamond shape or protruded edge on its surface.

The pattern can be a single diamond shape, lentil shape or round bean shape, or two or more patterns can be appropriately combined into a combined pattern plate.

The pattern mainly plays the role of anti-slip and decoration.  The combined pattern board's anti-slip ability, bending ability, metal saving and appearance are obviously better than the single pattern board.  Patterned steel plates are widely used in shipbuilding, boilers, automobiles, tractors, railway cars and construction industries.

Because the surface of the patterned steel plate has a protruding edge, it has a non-slip effect, and can be used as the floor, the factory ladder, the work frame pedal, the ship deck, the car bottom plate, etc.  The patterned steel plate is used for the pedals of walkways and stairs of workshops, large equipment or ships, and is a steel plate with a diamond or lentil pattern pressed out on the surface.

The common coatings are zinc aluminum alloy coating, zinc magnesium aluminum alloy coating and so on.

1. Cutting: The selected steel plate is cut according to the required size.

2. Embossing: embossing the steel plate through the embossing machine to form a variety of beautiful and practical patterns on the surface.

3. Rolling: rolling the steel plate after embossing to make its edge smooth without burrs.

1. Remove oil: clean the oil and impurities on the surface of the steel plate for subsequent treatment.

2. Pickling: Through pickling treatment, remove the oxidation scale and rust on the surface of the steel plate to make its surface smoother.

3. Coating: Spray the selected coating onto the surface of the steel plate to achieve anti-corrosion and beautiful effects.

4. Drying: Put the coated steel plate into the drying room for drying treatment to ensure that the coating is firm.

Fourth, packaging and transportation after the above processing of the pattern plate needs to be packaged and transported.  Generally, wooden pallets or rolls are used for transportation.  In the packaging, it is necessary to pay attention to the isolation material between the pattern plates, and to avoid collision and friction during transportation.

In addition, the manufacturing process of checkered steel plate and ordinary steel plate is also different. checkered steel plate is usually made by cold rolling process, and the pattern and texture are formed by embossing or knurling on the surface of the steel plate.

Ordinary steel plates can be manufactured by cold rolling, hot rolling or galvanizing processes, depending on the use and requirements of the steel plate.

there are also some differences in the performance of checkered steel plates and ordinary steel plates. checkered steel plates usually have high strength and hardness, and can withstand greater pressure and load. The performance of ordinary steel plates is different according to the specific material and manufacturing process, and different ordinary steel plates can be selected according to the need.

The application range of checkered steel plate

The main function of the checkered plate is non-slip and decoration, and it can also play a certain role in sound insulation, heat preservation, fire prevention and other effects.

The anti-slip effect of the checkered plate mainly depends on the different patterns and sudden design of its surface, which can ensure the anti-slip effect. Therefore, the checkered plate can be used as the floor, the escalator of the workshop, or the pedal of some work frames. In addition, some workshop floors are also to use such steel plates, good wear resistance, but also to ensure the safety of daily work.

In terms of decoration, the checkered plate d can increase the sense of layer and three-dimensional sense of the room because of its different pattern design, especially suitable for the space that needs beautification and decoration, such as the wall, ceiling and stairs, cabinets, doors and other parts of home decoration. At the same time, different materials and patterns can meet different decorative needs.

In addition, the checkered plate also has good bending resistance and corrosion resistance, and the cost performance is also very good. It can customize more than two kinds of patterns of steel plates, the combination of different types of design styles, to ensure that the later application is guaranteed.
